A Ministry Internship exists to train and prepare Christians to lead in ministry – whether in a voluntary capacity or paid capacity. It is a two year part-time program (that may be funded), focusing initially on tertiary students, involving considerable on-the-job training, plus regular face-to-face training sessions consistent with determined learning goals. The program is primarily practical, with some theoretical and theological elements.

At this stage the internships offered are in either Music or Children’s Ministry. Graduates of the internship, if appropriate, are encouraged to pursue additional theological education in due course, and/or the Ministry Apprenticeship Program.

The music internship program has allowed me to grow within many areas; most importantly enabling me to apply God’s word within musical contexts while pastoring musicians within the ministry they serve. I have been given unique opportunities to rehearse and perform within outreach events and conferences during my two year contract, forming valuable experiences that will help shape my future endeavours.  Olivia Nortkus (current Music Intern – Trinity City)
